Hyundai Heavy Industries, the world's largest shipbuilder, reported a record net profit in the fourth quarter, helped by higher vessel prices and gains from affiliates.

The company's fourth-quarter net profit jumped 47 percent to 1.061 trillion won ($952 million) from 721.3 billion won a year earlier. Operating profit rose 46 percent to 983 billion won from 674.8 billion, while revenue was up 21 percent at 6.43 trillion won from 5.33 trillion.
