Greek shipping line, Tiger Lines, will start calling at the New Container Terminal-1 (NCT-1) at the Subic Bay Freeport in the Philippines starting the second quarter of this year.
Tiger Lines will deploy a 750-TEU to 1,000-TEU capacity vessel for its planned bi-weekly service plying Subic, Singapore and Malaysia. The bi-weekly service is also a common feeder service, co-loading containers serviced by other shipping lines such as NYK, OOCL, Hapag Lloyd, Maersk and Evergreen.
In operation for almost 40 years, Tiger Lines is a joint venture company of Avin International S.A. and Zeniba Shipping. It joins APL and Wan Hai as SBITC's key clients in Subic.
SBITC manages and operates NCT-1 in Subic Bay, Philippines. SBITC, a subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services, Inc., has been serving the growing economy of the northern regions of the Philippines through world class container handling services in Subic since 2000. |
