A port developer is seeking to convert its six-hectare industrial land in the Philippines into an economic zone as it intends to pour in more money for cold-chain facilities and accommodate other locators. BusinessWorld reported.
AJMR Port Services Corporation recently secured a favourable endorsement from the city council for its application with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
The company has a container yard with a capacity of more than 300 units of 40-footer refrigerated vans, a cold-storage facility, a small wharf that can accommodate two vessels, and a pallet treatment facility. |
