The Finnish stevedore strike that has bought trade in the country to a standstill over the last two weeks is over.
Earlier today, the Finnish Port Operators' Association and transport workers' union AKT accepted a proposal for agreement put forward by the national conciliator, Esa Lonka.
The association said: "Members of AKT participating in the strike are to return to work as soon as possible, at the latest on Tuesday."
The strike started on 4 March, when negotiations over redundancy packages and working conditions between the union and association broke down.
