In most cases, for optional facility ,the receiver(importer) always prefer to appoint a familiar freight forwarder or NVOCC of his own country to undertake the forwarding services,which is quite convenient sometimes.Now changs taking place in the form of world economy, Yangtze River Delta has become one of the most important Manufacturing bases and the most active export hinterlands.Exports toward the whole world are diversifying from some cities in south-central Jiangsu Province as Nanjing ,Zhengjiang,Taizhou,Changzhou,Wuxi and Suzhou. And many unfavourable factors are arising gradually in the forwarding services for the exports from the soutitsn Jiangsu Province ,which are provided by the designated freight forwarder in Shanghai.The factors are as follows:
1.As most of the designated forwarders are located in Shanghai ,geographically they cannot provide the manufacturers in southeastern Jiangsu Province with close-to-client services.So many issues cannot be settled effectively,packing and stowage designs cannot achieve the staff’s help on the spot and process of the customs formalities for outward shipment cannot be instructed directly and correctly.

4.Not acclimatized.The designated forwarders haven’t contacted the consigner ,they know little about each other .And the traffic congestion also add to the barrier between the two parties,which long come into being the antagnistic and not acclimatized relationship.It is a problem to coordinate and settle the interests and conflicts between the local consigner and the forgien consignee.
5.Many differences exist in the time of payment and the delivery of cargo,which is disadvantageous for the successful deal.
